Photo Rejuvenation
Let's face it, we all want more beautiful skin. As time passes we can develop fine lines, uneven pigmentation (usually brown or red), and more dullness on our skin. Photorejuvenation, also known as a photo facial, can help all these issues. Skin will look more radiant, and beautiful.
Photorejuvenation using IPL is a safe and effective treatment, for men and women, to reverse skin damage. It improves the texture of the skin, stimulates your own collagen to help smooth fine lines and wrinkles, clears red blotches and spider veins, and fades brown spots, including brown age spots found on the backs of hands. It can also soften scars and reduce pore size, all with very little recovery time.
Cost varies depending on the size of the area to be treated. Each case requires a 15 - 30 minute consultation to determine your skin type and the best approach to treatment. The $50 consultation fee is deducted from your first session.
Roseacea
IPL treatment is effective in controlling the flushing; reduce or eliminate the burning, stinging and tingling experienced by many rosacea patients. Clients usually see improvement in their rosacea within a week or two of the initial IPL. Typically, maximum benefit is achieved in four to six treatments, spaced three to four weeks apart.
IPL remedies are incredibly quick, effortless and fairly painless. Protective shields, like sunglasses, will be positioned to defend your eyes. The affected area is treated with a sequence of flashes. You will feel a little snap as the flash hits your skin. After the treatment, cool cloths are positioned on your skin. Your skin may flush for an hour or so, but no bruising or skin tone injuries are seen. You can usually return to work or play immediately.
Permanent Hair Removal
Intense pulsed light systems release precisely controlled pulses of filtered light that are absorbed by melanin, the pigment in hair. This heats the hair destroying cells responsible for hair growth. Many follicles are targeted simultaneously. The applicator is then moved to the neighbouring area of skin.
The hair follicles are damaged by heat but the hairs remain in the follicles. The hairs fall out after 1 -3 weeks as the epidermis renews. During this period the hairs will seem to 'grow' as they are pushed out by the new epidermis.
Contraindications include photosensitizing drugs (Acutane ) or a history of keloidal scaring Advise us if you have been tanning (even spray on) or if you have hormonal issues, as these may increase potential for adverse reactions such as redness, inflammation, swelling and hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation.
Important Note
Because hair grows in 3 distinct stages and has a Sloughing Off stage, a minimum of 5 treatments may be required for Permanent Hair Removal.

An enzyme mask helps to gently exfoliate around the

An Elements Manicure starts with a nail trim if required
followed by filing and shaping the nails. You are then treated to a hand and
arm massage with all natural and holistic hand cream. Next a Heated Mitt
Treatment allows the moisturizing cream to penetrate and sooth the skin. An
application of Cuticle Softener and a Finger Bath softens and hydrates to
allow for comfortable removal of damaged, dry and overgrown cuticles.
Gentle buffing evens out ridges and smoothes the surface of the Nail Bed. A
